Emily Beth Hill is a theologian interested in economics, surveillance, social justice, and how cultural systems affect our worship and practice in the church.

She holds a PhD in Theological Ethics from the University of Aberdeen, an MA in Social Justice from Kilns College, an MA in Economics and BS in Business Economics from Miami University. Before pursuing theology and ministry, she spent 10 years working in international marketing research.

Emily is the author of Marketing and Christian Proclamation in Theological Perspective (Lexington Books/Fortress Academic, 2021). She writes and speaks about issues of economics and marketing in the church and currently serves in the Theological Formation department at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Emily is also a co-host of the Theology & podcast.
